Luigi Frau can boast that he was the first to organize sailing trips to the islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago and those of the Bocche di Bonifacio Nature Reserve back in 1985. He will involve you in maneuvering and even at the helm, getting you hooked on the world of sailing, while his explanations will allow you to discover the lesser-known historical and naturalistic aspects of a paradise now known the world over.
A multiple sailing champion in the IOR, J24 and metric classes, an expert connoisseur of places, he has been commander of sailing maxi-yachts (Swan), with which he has toured the entire Mediterranean.
The professional titles he holds – Commander of Chartered Boats, Park Skipper, issued by the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park, Sailing Expert Italian Naval League, Sailing Instructor-and very long sailing experience, make sure that trips are conducted with maximum safety and peace of mind for guests.
Sailing is done almost exclusively under sail, taking advantage of winds and currents of which Luigi knows every secret, with an ever-renewing passion and a fleet of boats that has grown adapting over the years to the needs of clients.
All sailboats, duly registered for charter and optimized for sailing in the Straits of Bonifacio, are led by crews of experienced professionals. All this makes it possible to organize wonderful excursions to discover places that are each time different depending on the weather conditions, in maximum safety.
